Announcement - Call for Tender

The Hungarian Civil Liberties Union’s newly launched program is announcing a tender on investigative journalism.

The HCLU, dedicated to democracy and the establishment of a transparent government and state, jointly with CEE Trust is granting support –financial and professional- to freelancer or editorial journalists working on articles, which require deeper absortment.

In November, 2013 András Horváth, former staff member of the Hungarian National Tax and Customs Administration turned to the public with his information on companies committing VAT fraud with the assistance of the National Tax and Customs Administration (NAV).
